DOUBLE SIX engines – for even greater power, when you need it: Combining the power of two identical first-class Mercedes engines, you have adjustable 12-cylinder power and an engine output of up to 830 hp delivering extremely high throughput available on the 970 and 980. Use the power only when you need it. With a simple finger touch change of the switch you can change from one engine to two-engine use and with the intelligent engine management system you considerably reduce fuel consumption. The engines meet the requirements of the latest tier III standard for emissions and noise making for quiet comfort and environmentally safe conditions. The powerful cooling system allows for nonstop chopping, even in extreme heat as the large and accessible air intake filters, filter from the top, which means the JAGUAR is never out of breath. V-MAX knife drum – more bite, functionality and low maintenance: The new drum design, equipped with up to 36 knives, delivers a variety of cutting lengths from 3 mm to 37 mm giving optimum chopping results. Each knife is fixed to the drum with just two bolts, giving a 50% timesavings when changing knives. And, with a universal knife design, there is no need to change from grass to corn knives.
